There are two observation decks at Kegon Falls. One allows visitors to view the falls from above for free.
The other observatory is located 100 meters below the waterfall via an elevator and a passageway. (Fees required)
The view of Kegon Falls from the observatory near the basin and the sound of the cascading water are very powerful.

To get to Nikko from Tokyo, generally take the Limited Express Spacia or Limited Express Liberty or Limited Express Spacia X (07/15/2023~) from Asakusa Station to Tobu Nikko Station. It will take approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Note: Limited Express Spacia has two types of trains: "Kegon" to/from Tobu Nikko Station and "Kinu" to/from Kinugawa-onsen Station. And Limited Express Liberty has that plus "Aizu", which goes beyond Kinugawa Onsen Station to Aizu-tajima Station.
We recommend that you take the "Kegon" since it will take you to Tobu Nikko Station without having to change trains.

From Tobu Nikko Station, take a bus and get off at Chuzenji Onsen bus stop (Takes about 50 minutes). From Chuzenji Onsen bus stop, it takes about 5 minutes on foot to reach the Kegon Falls.
